Baley's Crossroads Auto Show features new and classic ... - blog*spot

The inaugural event last year featured new cars from Koons Ford available for test drives. This year, ?we?re taking it to the next level,? says Stuart football coach Roy Ferri, the organizer of the auto show. There will be lovingly restored classic cars on display ?from the time when gas was unleaded, seatbelts were optional, and bumpers shined with chrome, lots of chrome,? he says. There will also be customized cars of all types. The event also features food venders, music, and a children?s play area with a moonbounce, games, and face painting.

All proceeds from the auto show will be used to support the football, track, and field hockey programs at Stuart High School.

The show opens at 10 a.m. (8 a.m. for exhibitors). Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students, and free for children 7 and under. Adults who test-drive a new car from Koons Ford receive free admission (one adult per household).

Owners of classic and custom cars are invited to come show off your automotive masterpieces. Registration for car owners is $20 in advance and $25 on site. The first 150 registered cars will receive a commemorative dashboard plaque and photograph.

For more information, contact Roy Ferri, 703/824-3965.
