After attaining the Juris degree, the candidate should get approval from state bar association.
They should obtain certification from the Board of Certification of the National Elder Law Foundation if they wish to specialize in the subject. Before applying for a certification, they should work for either 5 years or 3 years for a legal firm or any other agency. They should obtain certification from at least 5 reputed lawyers by passing a written test.
