More progress expected from Fabulous Imogen in A2 480m Flat at Perry Barr

Although Fabulous Imogen is stepping up in class, she should not be totally written off in A2 480m Flat at Perry Barr on Sunday, December 2nd. Her progressive journey came to halt a couple of weeks ago, when she suffered a humiliating loss at the hands of Carlow Mist in Grade A3.

It was a rough ride. After getting crowded at the very first bend, the black bitch was in no position to make an impact. As a result, she ended up last on the table. Quickly getting her act together, the J.H. Smith-trained demonstrated a fascinating show last time around.

In an A3 meeting, she took the top prize by a neck?s distance. The bitch was soon away, and subsequently railed brilliantly. Although the margin of victory was not big, the experts really admired her effort.

After covering 480 metres in just 29.01 seconds, the daughter of Droopys Maldini is full of spirit. So, we expect her to continue progress, and seal the victory here today. The draw is hugely in her favour. Starting from the red box will surely give her an ideal opportunity of taking advantage in the early stages.

Other hounds in the pack are: Ben Gorm, Slaming Sam, Carlow Mist, Myleens Request and Home Ross. The exciting affair is scheduled to get underway at 12:04 GMT. The sponsors have reserved a prize of 117 pounds for the successful runner.

Myleens Request may have to come from last to win. Without any doubt, it is a very stiff task for her. Slaming Sam was really disappointing last time, when completing the order of finish. The brindle dog is expected to show improvement, but a winning effort is unlikely.

Home Ross has plenty of experience under his belt. The draw is a concern though. Carlow Mist is flushed with pride after a couple of narrow victories. The black dog is on our shortlist.

Ben Gorm could play a significant role, only if things go to the plan. Any inside crowding will help his cause, but more than one hundred percent is nevertheless required to beat this opposition.
