INDIANAPOLISSHEMAKESCHANGE, a new online conference from the Womens Philanthropy Institute at the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, is among the first programs to connect womens attitudes about money to how they manage their charitable giving. Through live presentations, panel discussions and sharing research, financial, legal and womens philanthropy experts and philanthropists will explore how women view money, uproot perceived attitudes about money and philanthropy, and leverage these insights to change the world. Much is written about women and money, and research on womens philanthropy is growing. Few opportunities exist, however, to discuss the connections among women, money and philanthropy. The Womens Philanthropy Institute furthers the understanding of womens philanthropy through research, education, and knowledge dissemination. The Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University is a leading academic center dedicated to increasing the understanding of philanthropy and improving its practice worldwide through research, teaching, training and public affairs programs in philanthropy, fundraising, and management of nonprofit organizations.
